During the first two weeks, everything happened as it had been plaed before. On the first session of each week, two students had to work in pairs and present a kind of teaching method for the rest of the class. The first week's presentation was about The Grammar-Translation Method and the second week's was about The Direct Method. The second sessions were dedicated to yhe class discussion about some definite topics concerning teaching methodology.

Now, I'm going to briefly talk about what I've learnt during these two weeks. For each of the methods (GTM and DM) we analyzed a class where the teacher was using it and that helped me to understand the method better. I also became familiar with the principles of each method and, moreover, some techniques that may adapt to my own approach. As for the class discussion, I learnt the definitions of some terms concerned with teaching, such as: approach, method, curriculum, lesson plan, etc. And I also understood the differences between them.

Finally, here are my Idea. It would have been better if we dedicated some time to discuss the advantages and the disadvantages of each teaching method (GTM and DM). It could have been very helpful if we had acted out the way a teacher used those methods in the class just for a very short period of time, maybe five minute!
